Accessibility
I’m Vikram — a software engineer with over eight years of experience building production products, primarily across React, frontend architecture and full-stack web systems. More recently, I’ve applied that foundation to AI-native products spanning retrieval, grounded generation, evaluation and local inference.
My focus is building systems that remain understandable, reliable, and maintainable as they grow — from accessible, performance-aware interfaces and component architecture to backend services and AI workflows with explicit evidence, validation, and evaluation boundaries.
Good engineering is about clarity, maintainability, and empathy — for users, teammates, and future developers.
I design systems to remain understandable, adaptable, and reliable six months after they are shipped.
I integrate AI tooling not as experimentation, but as a structured engineering practice: agent-readable metadata, MCP-based tool interfaces, and clearly defined development conventions.
My goal is explainable, verifiable, and maintainable AI workflows rather than opaque automation.
I approach problems pragmatically and often find unconventional paths forward, particularly when requirements are ambiguous.
I work iteratively, learn from real feedback, and carry ideas through to execution rather than waiting for perfect clarity.

Experience
Product & Interface Engineering
Production React apps, design systems and accessible public services.
AI Tooling & Agent Workflows
Component metadata and MCP tools that let LLM agents use real systems.
Evidence-Grounded AI
Retrieval that shows its evidence: first engineering, then photography.
Documented Engineering Decisions
Recording why decisions were made, so they can be questioned and revised.
